Visit to Ontario
One of the benefits of now being just down the road from our Family in Ontario, is that we can plan a little get-away at fairly last minute. Mum and I did this for the first time this month. We booked a hotel room on hotwire.com in Burlington so we were close to Catherine and Mark, and in between Allie and Co in Hamilton, and Mum's family in Toronto. It was also the first time that we met all of Mark's family in one place for a family dinner. Therefore we had about 17 people all together at the same table! Mum and I also had a great time with the grand babies, and spending time with Catherine and Allie.
Given that we are so close to all of them now, I definitely know we'll be planning another visit soon!

Bring in 2010!!
Unlike the past 4 years I couldn't spend New Year's with my Handsome Man. So in the mean time I had a great time with good friends of mine on this side of the water. Daniel was hosting the party, and had invited a bunch of his friends along, so I brought the famous eggnog and the chips and dip (always important). We had a blast playing card games, and Scene it, and generally having a great time with one another. We all stayed over, and Daniel treated us to a great fry up in the morning. I had a great time ringing in the New Year as I was able to implement some of my New Year's resolution; spending more time on myself, and with my friends. Have a happy and healthy New Year, everyone!!
